Pros and cons of The Economist weekly EU iPad app for iPhone and iPad

The Economist weekly EU iPad app good for

Magazine is magnificent and App now works perfectly. Its a pleasure to download every Friday morning.
This is a great app, which I love. I appreciate then need to make money, but I think the Economist could avoid showing us the same ad 50 times, as it does not endear me to either the advertiser or the publication. Other than that, it would be 5 stars all the way.
Great app making it easy to navigate through content. Fewer ads would be welcome but alas you still have to feed journalists.
I find it difficult to understand why the quarterly subscription results in a unit price of 3.07€ when the yearly subscription results in a unit of 3.52€. Also the unit price of single units (7.99€) is a bit too expensive in my opinion and regularly discourages me to purchase a unit that I would find of interest
Easy to use, especially book tabs across devices. Only negatives, i need to take out old numbers to clear memory space. Sometimes when scrolling we are re directed to advertisers pages which is annoying. Fine to have ads. But make it a conscious choice to ask more information. Benjamin
Everything is just great, just one thing that they could add to make it perfect is to make it possible to select a word in order to have its definition

Some bad moments

Depuis la mise à jour diOS9, the economist does not work anymore ! Please fix that asap
was working just great - until i installed the latest update. now it keeps crashing.
Under iOS 9 issues are loading but articles can only be viewed partially. Otherwise, the app is well designed and easy to use.
Why is there no Economist for iPad app in the German App Store?
What a shame that The Economist didnt test their App when iOS 9 was available months ahead of its release. They truly could do better.
On the iPad 2 all multi-page articles are reduced to 1 page. Meaning you cant read more than one page at all. Test your software/apps before you release it for the device, or else dont bother in the first place.
